To Sharon Davison

The ARMOUR headstone to which you have made reference is, I believe, that of my great great great grandfather and grandmother. I have been able to read their dates of death, and also that of THOMAS ARMOUR. I was completely unaware of him and I wonder whether he was their son.
The headstone is badly corroded with lichen growth making it difficult to read the rest of the inscription, and I wonder whether you have been able to do so. I would love to hear from you if you can help.

Hi John,

Sharon did not posted the original message on this Forum. I, moderator/owner posted it from the archives from one of the many mailing-lists I was moderator of,before 2004. This was/is only intended as a guide to what could be found CHRIST CHURCH, DERRIAGHY .

I have mention a book in an earlier message, maybe that could be of help. I have never visited CHRIST CHURCH, DERRIAGHY as my main interest is the Glens of Antrim and the triangle Whitehead, Ballymena and Ballycastle.

greetings

L
