These are all my ancestors who give IRELAND as their birthplace in the Scotland censuses 1851-1871. They all attended Protestant churches in the Glasgow/Ediburgh/Lanarkshire areas, so I am searching for their Irish homes in Northern Ireland. I have absolutely no other Irish data to go on, except for Mary Anne Donaldson (1836 Ireland-1880 Armadale Scotland) who may have been born to Thomas and Mary Donoldson in Clones.

This line of sturdy ancestors were all coal or ironstone miners during the generation or two when they lived in Scotland; the generations afterwards worked in the coal mines here in Pennsylvania.
