For anybody that is willing to share information on what records can be obtained from offical sources as PRONI FHC, LDS,etc or
other sources as newspapers, or local knowledge, local books etc.. If need be I will start separate area forums

Looking for a town, townland or place in Ireland then this map from http://ireland.kiwicelts.com/ might contain the information you need. As I understand it, this is a work in progress.

Visit: http://ireland.kiwicelts.com/irishMap/ireMap.html and with a bit of luck it will show you the townland.

In this example, in the first menu choose "county" not "country", is "antrim", then "civil parish" is "ballyscullion" enter in search text "taylorstown" and in the last menu click on the result.

On the map you will see "pointer"with "C"= Civil parish and now a "T" which is your townland. Click on the "C" or "T" and you will get

more information.
