collaborate on a one-name-study on the MCADOREY's?

Looking for anyone researching MCADOREY, STUART or REID of County
Antrim. My Great-grandfather Denis MCADOREY died October 12th 1929 and is buried in St McNissi/St Olcan burial ground in Randalstown, County
Antrim. He was a farmer/wheelwright/coffin-maker, married twice first to
Ellen STUART and then to Ellen REID and had five children: Mary, Ellen,
Henry b. 1877, James b. 1879 and Denis b. 1880.
My great-grandfather's siblings are reported to have emigrated to the US
and Canada.
Is anyone doing/or willing to collaborate on a one-name-study on the
MCADOREY's of County Antrim? Does anyone have an appropiate Ellen STUART or Ellen REID in their family trees?
Best wishes

Hi Mark, if you're still out there, I'm still working on the US line. We can trace back to Thomas & Ann leaving port Antrim in 1768 on Brig Dungannon. Am coming to Scotland in April 05 and hope to get to Antrim at that time. Email me direct if you'd like at

JUst an isolated fact about the Larne sept of the McAdoreys.

A Mary Ann McAdorey (or McAdorrey) married an Arthur Wills on 12 Dec 1898 in St Macnissis church; married by Rev E Macartan. The event was witnessed by Agnes Shields and Hugh (either Shields or Springoll); The source is the online database of the Ulster Historical Foundation. There are two records - presumably corresponding to the civil and church records, which gives rise to the variant spelling and the difference in the witness names.
